ALL ARTWORKS: 2014, ARCHIVAL HAHNEMUHLE FINE ART PAPER, 56cmH X 56cmW & 100cmH X 100cmW

As part of a residency undertaken in 2014 at the Midland Railway Workshops by invitation from FORM, I created a series of works that examine the human relationships to the native flora of this particular site. These photographic botanical studies of Western Australian native flora not only express the aesthetic beauty of our native flora but also recount the history of this area inclusive of the Indigenous and non-Indigenous narratives. These images pay homage to the flora that existed in spaces that have been cleared by early settlement.
